The load resistor is not required for 2011 and later models. But most 1997-2011 models will require a load resistor.
Product Feature:
The halo ring is 6000K and is a pure bright white light. Corresponds to the light color of the other LED headlights mounted on the vehicle. The internal LEDs are amber and act as direction indicators. The halo ring turns off when the LED turn signal is active. This allows the LED turn signal to be more noticeable to oncoming motorists.
